Holy smoke, that is incredible! Nice job. Any nice keeper walkers in that bunch or were all of them just bullion value?

Absolutely unbelievable.

I ordered $2,000 from my bank and picked them up today. The first box I opened was all 1994. the second and third boxes were complete skunks! NO silver in $1,500! I have one more box left and am not very optimistic.

Congrats baldiphoto.

Wow those are unusually high numbers of keepers. I wonder if someone might have recently dumped a coin collection into circulation in your area.

Ouch that is a bad run there. I hope your 4th box yields something. I just went through 2 boxes of halves, and only came up with 3 40% and 6 NIFC. So nine total coins out of 2000 searched.

When picking up coins from a credit union, is there a fee you have to pay? I picked up $30 in nickels from a currency exchange as my first nickel hunt a couple months ago - got hit with a $3 fee. Not bad if you find something worth keeping, but I'm not sure what that would be on $1000 in halves, I hope not $100, aka 10%.

That is amazing! I cannot handle the investment that it requires, but it sounds like incredible fun to go thru such boxes.

I havent either but I only did $1000 in halves so far. All I managed out of that was 3 40% halves, and 5 or 6 NIFC (2001P and after). I am guessing there must be other silver half searchers in this area.
