Picked this up recently, a full mirrored brockage of a 1874 penny. Looks muuuch better in hand than the photos too.

It came from Canada, maybe from someone on here? It was off of ebay, but anyway it's in my collection now and looks great!!

Cheers guys, I had an obverse brockage from the same reign last year, sold it for a lovely profit, but have regretted it ever since.

I was chuffed when I picked this one up, it was a steal and I got very lucky!

Its interesting how the shield designs are sharper on the reversed image ...

Good observation John, it is because the normal design is of course in relief, therefore the brockage is incuse and as such the lowest points become the highest points and vice versa. The shield is a high point on the normal design so sees more wear but is now the lowest point on the reversed side, so should be pretty well defined in comparison.
