What do you think of the grade on this coin?

Thanks ;)

Very attractive. Without being able to look closely at the surfaces, I think it is surely a soft-strike AU-58 at worst, and potentially a number of grades higher.

AU details due to cleaning.

Looks like it has been over dipped and it has killed the lustre.

AU details. It appears all the life has been stripped of the surfaces

Don't know. Looks cloudy just from possibly being around PVC.

Try some acetone on the reverse and post some pics.

Agree with CHD -- PVC goop all over the reverse. I bet it would come off nicely.

XF/AU. Is this picture a scan? Surfaces looked washed out.

Honestly I think this coin just needs a good rundown with acetone. Don't think it's been cleaned.
Rest in Peace

Acetone will not do much for this coin. I am puzzled about the appearance of this SLQ . I can't tell if it's a weak strike MS-63 or a circulated AU-50 . either way I do believe it has been dipped to many times.

Thanks a lot for all your replies, I was considering to bid on this coin but it eventually sold for somewhere around $110 so I passed.

You did well to stay way from that coin. I don't like the way it looks, it was over dipped.
What happened with that Rhode Island Token you were interested in?

Just the scan that makes it look washed out. I would have no worries about bidding on it.
