So there are a lot of no-so-smart people in my town. Few folks are actually coin collectors, even fewer that coin roll hunt. I went to my local bank to ask for customer wrapped half dollar rolls, and she said they had 700 dollars worth. I got 40 dollars worth, and the oldest half was a 1971. I'd think that there would be plenty of silver, but I was wrong. That was a few months ago. I'm planning on getting 150 dollars worth, but I just don't know...

As long as there's no problem with them taking the returns, what have you got to lose?

I did the same thing, but my bank didn't have any so they had to order them ($500 worth). So far from my ordered box I have been through 250.00 (they also gave me new sleeves to re-wrap them in they are a different color so they won't get mixed up with the others I have already searched). So once I go through them they will send back the first 500.00 worth and order me a new box. Very nice people (small town bank)

Anyways my first was 2 out of 150.00 and yes there were a ton of 1971 and 1974, then the second one was $100 and only got 1 from that.

So 3 out of 250.00.

Good Luck

The great thing is, you don't have to order them, they're all there!
Rest in Peace
