Care to guess what PCGS said here? I recently bought this one and really like it except for the speck trapped on the reverse.

55 Quote: ...bought this one ...speck trapped on the reverse. Did you buy this raw and then send it off to the TPG to be slabbed? 1) Was that spec present when the coin arrived at the TPG for encapsulation? 2) If so, would any TPG be expected to remove this spec before slabbing it if so requested to do so? 3) Or does the spec appear to be permanently adhered to this coin?

I'll go with 50. Great coin with great strike - just beautiful.

I bought it slabbed and imagine the speck was on it before submission. I think it would require a conservation payment to have the speck removed because it looks like a tiny piece of paper adhered to the reverse. PCGS said AU53. The'26-S is almost never well struck and this one is better than most. The nice color and surfaces sealed the AU+ deal. Thanks for all the guesses and comments!
