Did $40 in nickels 1945-P x1 (Silver) 1947-S x1 1948-D x1 1948-S (Hole Filler!) I was really hoping I'd find a buffalo by now. War Nickels are pretty nice but a buffalo find would be better.

Got off work late so my regular bank was closed and I couldn't pick up my box. Lucky for me there was a bank across the parking lot still open. Picked up $40 in customer wrapped rolls. I don't know if it's someones dump. Although I didn't find any silver, I did pull 1 2009-D and a 1939-D. I think I'll go back tomorrow and see if they have any more rolls.

Nice find NGS...never have found a buffalo either I've gone through about $500 this month as I've just started this month also and have yielded 6 War Nickels a few 50P's only thing I havnt found is the elusive 50D and the 39S,39D,38S,38D need a few of the S and D wars...but I would say for just starting and looking through very little so far that I've been pretty lucky...still trying to find that buffalo tho

@Ben: Tempting offer, but I'm saving my War Nickels to trade for 90% silver rounds. Btw, I've done $670 so far and have only found 1 buffalo. Compare that to 11 War Nickels. Yeah. Great job on rescuing that proof mountainman. Oh almost forgot, I got yet another 1939. Plain, no double die. A 1946-D and a 1948-D. 48/65 Jeffersons
