Nice berto! I need two of those for my 2015 project. It'll happen though. Was that a large S variety?

Rackster, I was in such a hurry I didn't notice, sorry! The only thing I noticed about those finds was the 1953 had a black obverse and normal reverse. I placed a $300 order for next week and hope to have time the following weekend to look through most of them so should have a more substantial report then. HH. :)

Correction to my above post. I hadn't quite finished that bag and ended up finding a 45d war with a pre-strike lamination error - I think. Gonna post pics in the next day or so

$40 MWRs and $20 CWRs yielded:

1938
1941s (small s) with partial steps
1944S (war)
1946S
1948S
1952S

The CWRs yielded zilch, so I'm really happy with the MWRs.

Heck, I'm simply happy to have had time today to look through nickels!
:)

Nice guys! You never know about the CWRs; some folks are savvy enough to hold the old even if they don't know much/anything about them. At that point, I turn my attention to the varieties and BU specimens.
