2 more Jefferson nickel Dansco albums on the way. 1 for each of my kids which will probably just pawn them when I am gone. Its going to be fun filling them up. Still missing the 50D for album #1. |

Tonight's box yielded only an undated Liberty nickel. That makes two Liberty nickels this month, the shortest time ever between finds. Does anyone know if white vinegar will bring the date out on a liberty like it does on a buffalo? |

Try to think positive Carlos! I must admit I wonder the same thing about my 3 kids...I also wonder what the heck my wife and kids will do with the big game mounts I have hanging on the walls if I pass sooner than I planned...pawn them as well?!?
Oh well, no sense worrying about it, so let's simply enjoy looking through a few more rolls of coin ;)

I picked up 3 bags yesterday and looked through $40 in MWRs:
1942D (not war)
1947S
1968 and 1978 CDN
Nothing of note, but the good news is I have more to look through later :)

Finally found the elusive 39-D in a Brinks roll. Found a 50-D years ago. I don't keep track but I think I found every other date/mintmark of the jefferson series over the years.   Edited by mountainman 2
