Quote: Jack,
Was that a 1938s you found? Yeah number 4 now since I found my first one on New Years day this year. I just need to find a 1950D for street cred.

45 rolls
2004 Bermuda five cent 2-1955 (also 2-1955-D) 1916/16 buffalo (OK, it's really dateless, but how can it be anything other than the 16/16 because I cannot read the date and there is no mintmark)
11 other miscellaneous pre-58 no war nary a single 2009

Congrats on that 16/16!! I had a few of them as well. You might want to pickle the nickel just to confirm though.

Some nice finds just ahead of me. 4 38S's, a roll of '41 S's and a 50D. Wow. I did a box over a couple of days this week. Found a 20 pence piece and then hit a 38S myself. As I was going through a couple of rolls, my wife casually walked up to me and handed me a 43S she got in change. Only War Nickel lately. I believe I found around 70 1964 nickels and I know I found just one from 2009. That's pretty amazing until one looks at production numbers.

Nice finds on the 1938S. I still have not found a mint mark on a 1938 or 1939. Down to the the four to complete the journey.
