1 bag yielded 2 silver wars and an average amount of pre-60.

I am winding down my CRH career for a while. Working too many hours, doing more with the kids, and somehtings gotta give. I had slowed down to a few bags of coins and a random box or so every week. I am now looking at maybe a bag every other week or somehting like that. Gonna stop dimes and I may keep doing nickels.

will still be on here, but making a concerted effort to sleep more, be healtheir, and spend more time with the family.

Welcome to my plan - even every 3rd week for a box. Priorities seem to be in order Cbass.

I agree CoinCbass and Rackster. I had to slow it down also. I've had 2 boxes of Nickels for over a Month now. I can't seem to find the time. It seems to take me almost a week to thoroughly search a box of Nickels. I'm completing an Album for my 18 mo Daughter. I'm thinking about saving 1 box for when she gets old enough to search with me.

I'm only searching a couple of boxes of Halves a week now. I mainly just edge search them for Silver. I'll keep searching them as long as the Silver keeps flowing.

Good luck to all.

So much to do, so little time to do it. Seems most of us have the same problem. Maybe we need to revisit the priorities, get rid of the baggage, and put a bit more order into things. That way....more time to CRH!!

Sorry to hear that.

Please tell me you have a backup of your data and that data was encrypted on the laptop. If not, I hope you have taken measures to protect from identity theft. Changed passwords, etc.

I've found some decent stuff in the last 8 boxes but I threw them aside and need to do inventory on them.

1 box today had a proof ender.

I think I have only found 4 proof nickels ever out of 350+ boxes.

3 proofs in the box along with 3 nice 1962 /3 and what I would almost dare calla prooflike 1990D because of the luster but it has roller damage

Carloscoria - I usually average right around 3/4-1 war nickel/box and around 1.5/bag (200$ bag). I am in North Carolina. When I go up north on vacation, I think it is a tad easier to find War Nickels.

I have found hundreds and hundreds of them though because I used to hunt so much volume and have done it for several years.

Found this V nickel and a War Nickel in $80 in MWRs a few days back. IMO, grades between VG and fine.

Jack Jeckel......congratulations on the proof nickel. They are always nice to find. I'm really surprised at the limited number you have found. I've found 20 proof nickels in 130 boxes. There must be tons of the 2004 proof, I've found four of them.

I'm visiting my brother in Chicago and last night we did a box together. One 1944 P, a 1950, a 1951D a 1948S, and a 1918 or 1928 S buffalo. Nothing from 2009.

Back in 2013 he did 33 boxes. Two of them were all 2013 D's. So 31 boxes searched.

He found a 1950 D, a 1899 V nickel, a 1938D, 1938S, two 1949S's, and 24 war nickles. Only 10 2009's, 8 D's and 2 P's.

Sorry, no pics.
