Quote: Friday night's box: a very nice condition 1943P.
Tonight's box: a 1943P and a 1935p buffalo. Both of these finds were milestones for us. The 1943P was our 150th 1943 dated silver nickel (P/D/S) collected from CRH. The buffalo was our 150th buffalo collected from CRH. Excellent!

I sometimes wrap acid washed buffalos with my other nickels since they're ugly once the date has been revealed, anyone ever received a formerly dateless nickel before?

Hi Jon - Still, you've been able to get three sets started. I have two sets going. Slow going for obvious reasons but to your point, lots of duplicates (e.g. 1937). I snagged one in this last box, but dateless. I pickled it but its too far gone. Maybe from the 20's. And that's my third set; the pickled nickel set. Box #18 for the year: 1 shot Buffalo 30s: 1 1939 40s: 15 (1945P) 50s: 8 (nothing remarkable) 60s: 7 AU/BU specimens (a couple upgrades) 70s: 5 AU/BU specimens (a couple upgrades) 80s: 3 AU/BU specimens (1982D, 1983) Foreign: 4 countries Error/Variety: 1 2007 clash (minor for study)

I am currently on roll 7150. 107 War Nickels. One shy of the set of Jefferson's. You can guess which one is missing.

Box number 95. Started tonight with fifteen rolls. Already best box I have had. 1942 s, 1944 d, 1937 buff, and an absolute killer 1942 d. All stairs are perfect cannot imagine any better this old from circulation. Cannot wait to see the. Rest of this box. Probably nothing. Trying to attach photos now. They do not do justice.

Interesting stats. I correlate well in most respects but there are starkly contrasting bits. Luck of the draw and location I'm sure accounts for some/most I suppose. I appreciate those folks out there that have been diligent in keeping the records. It does help provide context in understanding where one fits in their own CRH universe.

Rackster - Just interested in where our stats do not meet well. Have you shared the 12 you still need for your 2015 objective set?
