I figured that this would be a nice tradition to carry on. The title is pretty self explanatory, but post anything coin related that you got for Christmas! For some eye candy, check out the 2014 thread... https://goccf.com/t/193463Merry Christmas everyone! Edited by CoinCollector2012 12/24/2015 10:13 pm

Well guess I am first! Well an Xmas gift to me was a Mexican Dansco Type album almost filled with really nice coins! That one I will have to try and "pay off" for a little bit. But from my mother/step dad in laws, we got a 1/10 gold Panda! My first gold coin! :D can't put pics since we aren't supposed to have opened it yet :P

I haven't opened anything yet, but as an early present I got an ANA platinum membership! I don't think my family will have gotten me any coins since I prefer to ask for money and buy my own so they don't get ripped off. The exception this year is one that I asked my brother for on ebay, a 1955 Roosie in PCGS PF-68.

None.

Well, I bought myself a Morgan dollar date set album and filled all but 3 spots with coins I have on hand. My wife got me a box of Lincoln cents to hunt through, and so far that is it. We still have the Christmas morning gifts to do yet so more could come.

On Christmas eve, I went to the county park on the lake. Being 60 degrees in lower Michigan this time of year is a blessing! I was surprised when I dug a 1904 Barber dime at about 5" deep. I heard the silver 'chirp' among the many 'beaver tails.' It is at this same park on the lake that I've dug several nice coins including a 1920 S standing liberty, and a beautiful crisp 1865 2-cent piece. Along with the 1904 dime I also dug two pretty .925 silver rings and eyeballed a .925 hoop ear ring. Merry Christmas to me!

I'm not allowed to open my presents until my parents wake up, and I'm not allowed to wake them until 10 (1 PM forum time).
