I looked through two rolls. The dime roll produced nothing, but the cent roll gave me three nice MADs from the 90s and two coppers (and darn good ones at that- 75-D and 69-S, both AU+)

Wow, I just did a single one of the nickel rolls and I got seven keepers!
1946, 48, 53-D, 54-S, 57-D, 63 (looks like a proof), and best of all, an EF 1937.
I'm dead sure my uncle didn't seed the roll since it's a machine wrapped Loomis roll.

BU and I mean BRILLIANT 1957-D Franklin half. I'm attempting to do a BU set of these so I've now got 3.

1888 Indian Head cent in G6. I'm not picky for my IHC grades. I now have 38/57 for 66.67% of those!

1913 Type-I Buffalo nickel in about VF-30 condition. (I love it!!) This goes straight to the type set!

My lovely sister got me a AU-55 ungraded 1909-P VDB Wheat cent. (Also to the type set!)

I'm so thrilled. Coin buying became a success for the holidays this year since I provided my family with online links.

I also entered another secret santa with members from a different coin community that is more oriented toward silver stacking. I mailed a cook islands 1ozt coin to my santa. I mentioned I prefer 90% silver instead of bullion. I got an 1881-P (well circulated but not cull) Morgan dollar, and 4 Washington quarters (34p, 44p, 54p, 64d).

I am thrilled and this was much more than I was expecting :) Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate!

Oddly enough I have no silver dollars in my collection. So my Dad helped me out with three Peace dollars and a couple of Morgan's.

I got several non coin related gifts which are Very nice. As for the coin related stuff I was given the following:

A set of 1943 through 1945 LWC's in fine to very fine condition
A digital microscope, now I can post pictures and find out if my 1945-P Jefferson really has a lamination error
And the best one of all....

*drum roll please*

An all expense paid trip to Denver with a tour of the mint.

Thank you sweet wife!

I got a piggy bank but they taped 4 sacagewea dollars to the package. All were 2000 but no lucky Cheerios dollar, still a cool thought. My fiancee also bought me the 2016 Red Book. I've never talked about books so it was cool she got me the Red Book! I look forward to reading through it!
Rest in Peace

My dear husband got me
- a 1954 Franklin half
- a series 1918 San Francisco $1 note
- 7 publications from the Chicago Coin Club each featuring a different kind of money and including samples or replicas. These include salt and pepper, cornaline d'Aleppo trade beads, fur money, obsidian, Chinese bamboo money, Mexican chocolate money and even cigarette money.

I got him an 1819 German penny and a pair of slippers.

No coins from the wife or in-laws this year, but I will be using part of my Christmas bonus to buy an 1889 Queen Victoria half crown I saw at the LCS last week as my Christmas present to myself.
