Well, I just went into a local bank to get two boxes of cents. They had a $50 bag of cents that a lady just brought in saying that they were from here father's home that he'd been collecting for years. Already found two wheats (1950 D and 1942) in 10 mins and a lot of them are beautiful. It'll take me awhile, so I'll keep you posted on finds

Ummm... what happened to this 1970 D? It's almost dime sized. I vote for PMD, but it's still interesting

Great fun indeed ... hopeful for some nice finds for you! Looking forward to your final results ... many of us CRH fans hope to run into someone at the bank exchanging their 'old coins' for cash. David

Huge stroke of good luck!! Take your time with those coins. Go through them 2 or 3 times and find as many varieties as you can. Given the condition of those coins and the long period of time it took to accumulate, you should find many high grade variety coins worth more than most of the Wheats you will find.
Good luck on the hunt and have fun!
