I confess to not having paid too much attention to the obverse of this specimen. That said, I can't discern any evidence of the clashed "In" or "st" but I can detect the wisps below Liberty's chin, although they're rather faint. What I do readily see is what looks like a clash mark between her lips and chin.  There's also a die crack extending from left star #1 all the way to #6.  Colligo ergo sum

After a couple weeks of crickets on this one, should I take that to mean nobody's identified this prticular obverse clash/crack combo before?

The VAM-41C was one of my very first, and still one of my favorites even though common. I say nice find, and good eye.

Thanks Dave. I am not sure how to change that in my profile to accept emails.

click on tools, then click on manage your profile, log in and the accept e-mails box is just under your e-mail address.
