PCGS slab. "Why would PCGS slab that coin?" Look at it closely and I bet you can figure it out soon enough.

Just a little fun for CCF. What's so "special" about it, and what grade did PCGS assign?

Technically, this is not an overdate. It is a repunched date. Some people use the terms interchangeably, but an overdate occurs when 2 different dates are punched into the same die. A repunched date occurs when the same date is punched into the die more than once and a misalignment may sometimes cause doubling. There is only one overdate in the IHC series, the 1888/7.
