I see doubling but curious if any more experienced variety searchers agree?

class 5/ class 6 ?

extra thickness

Not sure on this one. I agree on the thickness bit; seems that early 60s cents tend to have thicker dates. Causes me to pause from time-to-time.

1963d Should be fun has 23 different DDO and 4 DDR some are odd looking or unique to that date

The first images are showing slight Machine Doubling on those areas. All the other devices are normal in size, jut altered with MD when you look too close at them.
