Hi everyone,

I just want anybody to enlinghten me with regards to a capped die strikes against incomplete planchet strike.

I'm just curious on this 1963 LMC which I think might fall in this two type of error mentioned above. The obverse seems to be struck deeper into the planchet, however the reverse seems to be normal, as I compared this coin to other cents there is a noticeable thickness in its width.

Replies will be generously appreciated.

thanks

An incomplete strike will show a lack of detail, but the detail that does show will be sharp.

Struck through capped die will be blurry on everything.
