Hi All.
So I have inherited my great grandfathers coin collection and in it I have found this 5c Piece. Its silver one said and bronze/copper on the other. It is definitely dual coloured (have had it looked at a few times and alot of people before having a good look said it had been left up against something and been discoloured)
I am guessing it is perhaps an error coin? However I have no idea what to do.. has anyone ever seen one like this before?
I have been told by a number of coin shops etc that I will need to have it tested to ensure its real etc but I have no idea where to start.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jaymie.

Probably just environmental damage caused by the coin being in long-term close contact with either a 1c or 2c coin, causing the 5c to appear this way.

You can sort of make out the shape of the other coin in the area on the 5c that has discolored. Fairly common occurrence.
