There's no set price for any of the coins listed per say. Believe it or not, the PCGS prices are comparable to the RedBook for this 1923 s Peace. For MS62, my guess is around $50 per book value. Realized prices on ebay, Teletrade, and Heritage are the only true indicators to the coins worth in my opinion.

Typically, the PCGS price guide is way over priced. Usually it's the highest known sale value for a coin....ever. An easy thing I do is look at the grade of my coin, and then reference the price that is two grades lower in their online guide. So for the MS62 Peace, I would honestly expect around MS60 pricing, or $30-$40. Just my own experience with trying to find true values.

I agree that the new format is not an improvement IMO.

For an alternate resource for non MS coins, I also like https://www.numismedia.com.

Ken; I use the average between PCGS and Numismedia; Numismedia can be reciprocally low to PCGS's high.

yes; and they eliminated all the G, F, XF, AU labels.

Are the PCGS prices based on PCGS slabbed coins?

PCGS pricing only relates to PCGS slabs and it is still a bit on the high side.

Agree with you j_h_s, I also use both. Numismedia IS sometimes low - but it is also a good way to avoid getting caught up with a coin and being sure you really want it. If I see a coin I really like, I use PCGS as an alternate "top".

For example, I've been trying to acquire a larger size (pre-1828) Bust Dime for awhile now and they seem to be going high - even compared to PCGS. There's also a HUGE pop in value once you get above F-12 grade. But, patience, patience...

With the price of silver going up, for the silver dollars I'd guess the pcgs prices are just about right. It's not easy to find Morgan dollars for less than 15-20 dollars anymore, in any condition.

If the federal reserve starts melting more silver dollars those prices will go up fast.
