Let's say...I was at the COINSTAR and this coin kept getting spit out through the rejection slot...no matter how many times I put it through it would keep getting rejected.

About the 5th time through the machine, happen to look at my rejects and I noticed one was this Half Dime!

Whoo Hoo!

It's hard to take a good pic of it through all the filth!

Thoughts and grade about this old dirty looking Half Dime?

Does it look like someone spilt coffee on it to you all?

I read somewhere toothpaste might take it off?

Yeah Ken, this is a nasty one. With all those counting wheel marks and scummy, crusty contaminants, I'd say it deserves a cull grade of, oh, I don't know.... PR-65* (Star) or so?

Truly disgusting......as a public service I could take it off your hands....

It's probably safe to say that nothing as good as THAT ever goes through those machines, but imagine some of the stuff that does? I'd love to find out where the contents of those machines go!

Ya I was giving a hypothetical story, like we all hear. That's why I started with "Let's say..."

It does make you wonder what people dump in those machines though.

I may be sending this one in for grading once I get tired of looking at it in my 7070.
