Hi guys:
I use to live in Colombia and looking last night in a box with U.S cents I found this one that I believe could be WA 1999.Is that correct ? If so , which one could be the grade of that coin ? Thanks a lot ,Best.

Hello John ,What about this picture ? (my camera is not very good in close ups ,but if you see the coin with a magnifier you can appreciate that the A and the M are quite far away... ) Best

Isn't one of the other markers for a WAM that the A is equally spaced between the T's in STATES? This one certainly seems to have that equal spacing, so even if one cannot ell from the AM in the picture, would that be another thing to look at?

With the additional photo it does look like a WAM,congrats. On your camera do you have a macro setting?,a little flower icon. As to grade, with the finger prints on the obverse and reverse and whatever is under the T in CENT the eye appeal is lacking. At best MS60,I am not very good at grading.

Nice find, that's a 1998 WAM for sure.

My grading differs a bit from the TPG's on modern Lincolns. They might grade this coin as mint state, probably 62, but in my estimation is has seen some circulation. I'd call it AU-55.

That looks much better than the couple of zinc-rotted WAMs I've found. Congrats!

The serif on the G of FG is telling--definitely a WAM. Nice find--great condition too!

Nice find-and John yes the A in STATES is definitely one of the easier diagnostics for a WAM-evenly spaced between the T's like on this coin

Hey Hnry, following instructions of John for closeup , with more light and the camera with a little inclination there is another photo of the coin...any doubt now that the Lincoln Cent is a WAM ?
