I started this album a couple months ago, and I am curious if any member have completed it, or are working on it. I picked up (from Wizard) the album because I had a few of each coin just sitting in 2X2 boxes, and thought they would look better in a album. My coins are from high grade examples, but is do like filling albums. So this one falls into my "just for fun" section. I do like the album because the higher priced proof only coins are not included. This limits the number of very high priced coins ... at least what I consider high priced.

Looks good! I think you have a problem, regarding your addiction to Dansco albums. However, I cannot help you stop, I will only encourage you to do more and more of them!

I know what you are saying Jbuck ... Hard for me to say no to a Dansco.
Do you think there is a 12 step program?

I need to get one of those 2 cent Dansco's, got a complete set except the 1872. Easier to show people your Dansco than a binder sheet full of 2x2's, and much more attractive.

Prethen That sounds like a impressive album. And I am guessing your coins are much better grade than mine. Which is a very good thing. I decided to start this set, one, because I had some of the coins and no place to put them. Two, because over the years I see a lot of these coins sitting in coins shops. Of course most of the ones I see are in the lower grades. A few months ago I saw a 1872 Two Cent in very low grade, but low price, I am sure I will be kicking myself for not buying it then.

Looking good GR. Don't worry so much about your coins' conditions. If you are happy then be proud because every picture you post I for one am almost always in awe!

I like that album. I should get one and fill it. I have all but one of them. Still need the 1884 3 cent. The 2 cents aren't that hard, the 1872 being the only tough one. But they do show up. The 3 cent has several very tough coins unless you fill them with proof coins. The killer is the 1885 Almost 4,000 proofs, relatively common as far as proof 3 cent nickels go, but only 1,000 business strikes, most of which no longer exist. The 1884 isn't much easier.

Thanks all for posting.
Conder101, thanks for posting that information. I should have looked into these more years ago, so I would be more aware of which ones to watch for. After reading your post I am pretty sure which holes I will be filling last.
Thanks CSOTUS. I don't feel my collection is that special. Most of my coins are acquired from two local coin shop. Which means I might be able to pick what comes in .. If I can afford them. I don't think I have many really high end coins, but a good volume of common and maybe interesting coins.
