I get back change in the soda machine and out pops a strange coin I've never seen. I flip and it reads "No Cash Value." Hilarious, it made my day and I'm down 25 cents. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

I don't know, I mean it does read "No Cash Value." I'm going to take a gamble at it and say it's worth -25 cents. It didn't shoot my quarter out so its negative change.
Oh, the humanity! Vile world from which I live.

Save it for a car wash or vacuum. It'll be worth a quarter again. I suspect it happens often enough since folks toss tokens and change into the same console cup or pocket. If it came from a third party wrapper then it got past there junk screening. But all of us CRH enthusiasts have gotten something odd in a roll. I'm glad you got some comic relief out of it. Life's too short.

did you try to put it back in the machine to see if it would be rejected?
If you play golf, you could always use it as a ball marker..

I tried to put it back in the machine but it shot it back out. I don't even know how it got in there if it just shoots it back out. 52Raymo you have one to, sweet so it looks like I'm not the only one who has one. These must be joke coins.
I want my 25 cents back.

These are maverick arcade tokens of the post 1990's variety.

...and just because it says "no cash value" doesn't mean it's worthless. Slap it on ebay and someone might even give you a couple bucks for it. "HM" is the mintmark for Hoffman Mint, a private Florida-based mint making tokens and such things. They're still around, and still selling tokens just like these; here's their website. To buy a token like this in bulk costs about $160 for 1,000 of them, or 16 cents each.
