And I got UNC 1887 and 1890 Morgans, a BU 1958 D half dollar, an AU 1932 quarter, and 1925 S and AU 1937 dimes, for the price of -wait for it- $48. How did I do? Sorry about the poor picture quality. I do not have a good setup here. Edited by TypeCoin971793 01/27/2016 8:56 pm

Makes me want to take a trip to my nearest store.

Good for you. That is a great price. I bought 19 2 real Spanish Colony coins dated 1772-1818 from the rejects at the LCS. (They bought four of the nicer ones, and I took the remainder.)

I have a mixed bag of experiences with local gold stores. One guy loves selling to collectors but he's generally around eBays prices for things not bad but you won't get a steal.
Another store I went to after I asked nicely if they would be willing to sell any of the silver they get in and freaked out. Told me they didn't know what I was trying to pull and needed to leave before they called the cops lol.i left them a super bad review online for that.

Depending on what year they are, I'll take some UNC's for $18.

Very attractive price! I bet you could flip those other Morgan dollars for a decent profit. If I collected Morgans I'd be all over that deal.

Quote: Depending on what year they are, I'll take some UNC's for $18. There are two more UNCs and all thre rest but three are AU. All common dates from the 1880's and 1890's. Just looked at the going price for AU's on ebay. I am going to go back and buy the rest. These were nice.

Quote: didn't know what I was trying to pull and needed to leave before they called the cops What in the world would make them react like that!? They want to buy silver but don't want to sell it - presumably - at a profit? It really makes me wonder if they are doing something a little shady and thought you were testing them. Were they friendly when you first came in and then freaked out when you wanted to buy?
