Vehicle-Burglary-In-Perry,-Georgia-On-1/29/16Numismatic Crime Information Center - Perry,Georgia Detectives are investigating a vehicle burglary of a dealer attending the Perry,GA coin show. The offense occurred on January 29,2016.

The following is a list of stolen coins and currency:

1- 1873-S Gold Sovereign from Sydney Australia ( Raw XF+)
1- 1914 $2 1/2 Gold Indian (Raw AU)
1- 1914-D $5 Gold Indian (Raw AU Cleaned)
6 each 1 oz Proof Gold Eagles with Box and COA (1986- 1991)
5 - 4 pc Proof Gold Eagle sets in box with COA (1987)
1 - 100 oz Engelhard Silver Bar
1946 P/D/S Set Booker T Washington Half Dollar Commemoratives NGC MS 65 (in the Old Fat Holders)
1936 P/D/S set of Columbia Half Dollar Commemoratives NGC MS 65
2 - Ship wreck 8 Reales in NGC Ship wreck Holders

1 - 14" Red Double Row box of about 275 Raw collector type coins to include approx. 45 Barber half dollar from VF to AU condition 40 liberty Seated half dollars VF to AU condition. Large amount of Morgan silver dollars most uncirculated (Most of the 2x2's were writing with Blue Gel pin)
1 - Smaller double row box of Raw collector Copper type coins, to include Large Cents, Indian cents as well better circulated Lincoln Cents.
1 - White Postal Mail Tote full of Commemorative Silver Dollars as well as some brown flat Pack Proof Sets from 1955 - 1961.

Yuck. We hear about these coin-show-related thefts much too frequently.

And usually for the same reason. I bet he probably stopped somewhere to get something to eat and left his vehicle unattended.
