Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 02/04/2016 6:29 pm I was watching the auction of a group of US coins from a ebay seller who's mostly a jeweler. There's an 1877 Indian Head cent sitting in the upper left. The scan is lousy, but the N in ONE and the tops of the EN in CENT do look weak. It's hard to tell about the 77 in the date. The second one looks a bit funny to me, but I can't be sure from the scan. I hemmed and hawed and threw in a bid, but it zoomed up at the last second. It went for $222 and I didn't win. Also a little odd they left the hair and lent on the coin. I'm not sure how accurate coinstudy.com is but it shows a value of $390 for one in "good" condition.
