Franklins are my favorite coins off all time. Just simply a gorgeous design!

You cats have me searching for DDs a plenty now. Through all my Franklin half collecting, I never really cared to try and snag any of these, until I visited this forum. But, I'm now the proud owner of this bad boy, a gorgeous graded DDR Franklin. Not the highest graded by any means, but one with stunning eye appeal, and eye appeal for an affordable price is what I go for. Just a HAIR short of FBL too.....

Nice. I'm working on a set of Franklin's, I'm about half way done. And I agree Franklin's are beautiful.

Either one of you have one with bunny teeth that you could post here? Far as beautiful though, I've got to go with the Walkers, Mercs, and Libery Standing quarters.

With all the free space on the Franklin it's beautiful in high grade and loses its beauty rather quickly as the marks increase.

I agree Moxking, I never really thought about that till you mentioned it, but very true. True with other denominations with large fields as well. Now that I think about it, that's reflected in a lot of the Red Zones in the grading system - above and below the Jefferson's Monticello, to name one. Fortunately the OP's coin is well within.
