OK, so there's no such thing as a U.S. Type Album for proofs, but I've managed to get proof examples of many of the various types included in the 7070 album. Since most of them are slabbed, however, I'm not able to actually include them in the album itself, so I thought it would be fun to create a digital type album just for proof coins. It's a work in progress with a few holes, but I can definitely see the end of the road in sight. And please bear in mind that I haven't bothered with sub-varieties in most cases or types where the only proof examples are extremely rare and valuable (sorry, no hole for a proof Peace dollar...) Anyway, let me know what you think of it so far: U.S. Type Set - Proofs[And yeah, I know I'm a little inconsistent because I include some sub-varieties of more modern proofs, but that's just because they are relatively inexpensive and I happen to have some on hand. I could barely afford one proof Seated Liberty half dollar, let alone five different versions!]

I'm in the process of rephotographing some of my more modern silver proof coins to try and capture their reflectivity a bit. Hopefully, that will give the album a more consistent look when I am finished.

Lovely presentation and I'm sure you will inspire others to consider such an endeavor. The Trade dollar is my favorite.

Those classic proofs are absolutely gorgeous. I'm sure you are already aware that you if you wanted to expand the set you could also add a 2009 Lincoln Cent, silver war Jefferson, 2004-2005 Jefferson, 2006-date Jefferson, clad Washington, 1968-1970 40% Kennedy, Bicentennial Kennedy, clad Kennedy, modern silver Kennedy, bicentennial Ike, SBA, Sac dollar, NA dollar, and Pres dollar. Please don't take it as a diss since I know one of the classics you have could buy all of those I listed plus some.

Hey Barry incredible set. The proof Morgan dollar is absolutely gorgeous. I love your business strike 7070 too - I have been working on mine for years and you're where I want to be someday!

Jack,
I actually have all those modern coins in proof, but decided not to include them in this album at the present time.

Very impressive! I would be tempted to try one if I could afford it. At this point I have only one pre-1936 proof.
