I was checking to see what silver was available today.
There was enough dimes for me to finish my silver dime box.
I never dreamed it would take this long.

When I was looking at the dimes I saw a nice looking roll
of Washington quarters.

It is a complete roll of 1961 D's. I am thinking a BU roll.

I thought ...seeing I was done with the dime box.
Why not do more quarters.
Plus my wife was born in 1961 ... so bonus.

For the quarter box it is a 10 roll box .. I wanted a easier
one than the dimes.

So ... what do you think .. crazy or cool ... ?

Silver is always cool. Silver rolls are coolerer. Silver roll boxes are just plain frigid.

No I have not check for varieties, my eyes are getting harder to see
small details.

But thank you for that link. Just a quick look at it, I think there is
Some really good information there.

I have two roll boxes of Lincoln's that I always hoped to check for
grades and varieties ... Not sure I will ever get around to it.

300+ is a good amount.

Just keep adding to your stack, and over the years it will build.

I know guys with many times what I have.

Thank you all for your positive replies.

I am never sure what other "collectors" feel about
adding common silver to their collection.

I get torn when buying silver and still having so many
empty holes in my Dansco's. But as much as I like filling
my Dansco's, I also like rolls of silver coins.

So I do try to keep a good balance, and hope someday all
the holes are filled and I have a chest full of silver rolls.

We all need our dreams ....
