Where Did You Get Those Halves? - Coin Community Forum

LibertyEagle20 Pillar of the Community United States 1189 Posts	Posted 02/11/2016 7:10 pm Over the past year I accumulated several hundred dollars in halves. I don't have rolls so I've been using them on lunch. Today I went to go get a sub and pay in halves. At first the guy thought they were quarters. Then he asked where I got them and said he had no clue these were even still around. He had them all spread over the counter in stacks of $1 (2 coins). As I left I heard him call over the manager "what do I do with these half dollars? There's no place for them in the trey!" Report this Post to the Staff
