Hi,
I was wondering if I could get some feedback on my Three Shillings. I am still learning, but I have notice that the Elizabeth II are slightly rotated on all three coins, well I hope so and that it isn't my eyes.

Looking at the prices on ebay, I am aware that they do not have much value, but thought it might increase the value slightly. Also they appear to be uncirculated as they are in plastic coin holders with a plastic cover over the coin.

Thanks and welcome any feedback

I don't think slight rotation would do much for the value - the more rotated the more valuable but what's there is probably within or close enough to accepted tolerances.

There's a great article on upset (rotated) Australian coins here:
http://www.australian-coins.com/err...riety-error/

4th paragraph down states:

Quote:
Pre-decimal coins may often have a slight degree of upset which is considered normal which is not so common in decimal coins.
I forgot to add that they are well worth keeping , but I'm not so sure about the plastic holders. If they were mine I'd be moving them into something safer.
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved
