Yeah, what a mess and what a shame,eBay coin listings flooded with fakes of all types and descriptions and now they're going after the slabbed market.

If these were sold individually in different places at different times, the buyer would be none the wiser that they all had the same NGC serial number.

If the buyer had any suspicion the seller would be very reluctant to break the slab open to have the coin weighed.
Increasingly the slab is not able to reliably support the authenticity of the coin in the slab.

'Buy the coin, not the slab'.

I think this isn't about a fake slab it is more to do with stolen images , This happens time and time again.

Then why would the seller get a negative about a FAKE coin?

If someone steals an image of a slabbed coin, there is no way they can deliver that slab (or else why steal the photo? -- just photograph the coin you have in hand).

As I am not familiar with these coins so I went back and had a real good look at the dodgy listings.
You are absolutely correct NSS, The sellers coins are definitely FAKE.
Here is the coin next to the genuine one.
Well spotted Goldflake

Here's a little more info...If you can remember. The seller is from Elmont, N.Y. and has sold many fakes with many accounts. He threatened a friend of mine when he got called out for selling the same fake $50 eagles in July,August 2015. Also, sold fake Perth Mint 1 oz. GOLD bars. Previous accounts were:

You know, I didn't pay much attention but the details are just wrong. If you look at the text - one has the text incused and the other is just the opposite... now if the seller starts to claims that it's a rare variety, you know he's reading this forum.

Looks like the 3 sold by seller roulettemaster1 are all fakes. I can't see where there is anything stamped into the coin or slab.

This type of "Scum" often snarl like a cornered Rat when fronted with their total lack of scruples.
I hope your Mate didn't back down and gave this vermin both barrels

I imagine if that was the case it would make the seller an "EX CCF Member" in a Heartbeat

I have reported these to ebay, they will be removed soon. If you find any others, please don't hesitate to send me a private message.

Thanks for the help!
