This is just a sample from a friends collection. Was curious about what kind of coins they are, and where they're from, so I can find out if they're interesting enough to have the whole collection looked over.

#1 Cash coin, I don't know from where, but could be China.
#2 5 Yen, Japan, still usable in Japan.
#3 1 Cent (Centesimo), Panama, still usable in Panama.

For a date on the Japanese five yen, it looks to be the fourth year of the Heisei era, which would be 1992.

The cash coin is Vietnamese from the mid 1800's. I can't nail down the exact ID off the top of my head.

Vietnam coin is Thieu Tri, 1841-47.

Fun bit of trivia, the Panama cent was minted in Philadelphia, as were all Panamanian coins from 1904-1983. The panamanian Balboa is pegged to the USD, so it is worth exactly 1 cent.

The 5 Yen is also still legal tender, worth about 4.5 cents (1 yen = $0.008).
