I looked up that coin on my PCGS Coinfacts app. They have it listed at 5 in that condition.

I'm not sure if that is .05 cents or if it really $5. Just sayin ;)

There are some listed on ebay right now for buy it now between $60-$150. The thing is none of them have sold at those asking prices. Coinfacts has some past auction results showing the same grade sold in 2014 multiple times for $25. With those known prices I would say $25-$30 would be a realistic idea of price.

Thank you, well I'll be selling it on ebay as I got it in a lot of old cents in 2x2s (also for resale.) See, I'm currently fourteen, so until I can at least get a job (which I want to do as soon as I can), I am relying currently on resaling coins on ebay. I started out just selling a few small, cheap coins, now I've made a bit from it so I'm buying lots to resale, hopefully it works out well (I paid twenty dollars including shipping for the PCGS plus two hundred coins in 2x2s, so it has so far). Well, again thank you for your answer & God bless.

Good to see a YN starting to learn the business, but you really need to learn how to navigate the tools (otherwise you won't see your 15th birthday still wearing that shirt if you know what I mean...)

PCGS - http://www.PCGS.com/ - second link from the left is "Price Guide". Right most link is "CoinFacts", now free - that will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about a coin. At the bottom under "Customer Service" is a link to "Cert verification" where you can plug in the # and get the information: http://www.PCGS.com/cert/28874201

that says "PCGS Price GuideSM Value: $32" - but remember that is a high retail price.

Searching ebay for open and sold sales as davec13 suggested is the best bet for common, frequently sold stuff.

navigate into ebay's categories (Coins & Paper Money) down to US coins, cents, Lincoln (of the right years). Then use the refinement boxes to hone in on your coin.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/Lincoln-Mem...045573.m1684

Then check the "Sold Listings" box about half way down; obviously be sure you are looking at like for like (zinc not bronze).

Tells you an MS67 sold about a month ago for $42.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/Lincoln-Mem...045573.m1684

An MS66RD will be worth less...

Nice to see the doors of capitolism are still being entered by the youth! I can remember being 14 or 15 back in the mid 90s and doing everything I could to make a buck. If the Internet was available lie it is today I'd have been one rich kid lol. (The civilian Internet was mostly just message boards back then and it took like 2 minutes or longer to load every page)
