Good to see a YN starting to learn the business, but you really need to learn how to navigate the tools (otherwise you won't see your 15th birthday still wearing that shirt if you know what I mean...)
PCGS -
http://www.PCGS.com/ - second link from the left is "Price Guide". Right most link is "CoinFacts", now free - that will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about a coin. At the bottom under "Customer Service" is a link to "Cert verification" where you can plug in the # and get the information:
http://www.PCGS.com/cert/28874201that says "PCGS Price GuideSM Value: $32" - but remember that is a high retail price.
Searching
ebay for open and sold sales as davec13 suggested is the best bet for common, frequently sold stuff.
navigate into
ebay's categories (Coins & Paper Money) down to
US coins, cents, Lincoln (of the right years). Then use the refinement boxes to hone in on your coin.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Lincoln-Mem...045573.m1684Then check the "Sold Listings" box about half way down; obviously be sure you are looking at like for like (zinc not bronze).
Tells you an MS67 sold about a month ago for $42.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Lincoln-Mem...045573.m1684An MS66RD will be worth less...
