I know this one isn't worth much, but I'm really trying to learn how to identify these things. I appreciate all of your patience with me.

This one shows the two primary markers, but I can't identify the small scratches that should be on the reverse.

I know what you mean. I never have much luck on the reverse scratches either. I think you have to have the light just right. I believe I read a post on here that, if you can find the doubling and at least two of the markers then there's a good chance it is the one.

Keep in mind that the reverse die could have been switched out during the minting process. So the markers on the opposite side of the variety may not always be there.

Was wondering if you're comparing to the right mint? The coin pictured has a Denver mint mark, but above ref to the 1964P. Thanks, Doug.
