It looks like you may have a very nice Cud. A picture outside the 2X2 & appropriately rotated would help

Condition will always factor in. But a nice, large Cud like this is something an error collector likes. I cannot say value as I don't know enough about error coin pricing. But try looking on ebay sold "nickel Cud" for an estimate.

I'm still excited about it. I did not know it was referred to as a " Cud" error coin so I learned that. I also was not sure if it had to be in perfect condition to be worth anything.

A car is always looked at to see the mileage for value. The lower the miles the more interest in it. The more miles, less interest. Same way with coins. Even a fingerprint can drop the value of a coin even in BU. Just like damage to a car with low miles, still affects the value of it.
