I know there are always a lot of questions and discussion about the use of acetone. I will often use it, especially if I see a green/brown haze. Here is a coin I got today. I took before and after pics so you could see the result. I dipped a q-tip in acetone and rolled it across the surfaces (rather than rub). I did this twice for each side with a new q-tip each time. You'll notice on the reverse that it took off the light rainbow toning. That looked a bit questionable to me anyway. Now, a much more attractive coin (IMO).
