Nice set so far. I'm a little farther behind with just 62 coins (going for a somewhat balanced circulated set). I just picked up the date set Dansco to complete in MS condition except for 93, 94 and 95.
I do have to ask the reasoning for the upside-downers?

Upside downers were from that near complete Whitman set I bought a few months ago. The ones I picked to slab pretty much paid for it all so all those upside-down ones actually were free to me. Technically though they averaged out to $38 a piece. I love the 82cc & 83cc. Don't you? How often do you see crusty ones like that? They're nice as like 99% that cross my eyes are sparkly gsa ones. Call me crazy

Very nice. The hardest coin for me to buy was the 93s as the coin seems to be over priced.

Aha, I thought that may be the case. Call you crazy for liking circulated Carson City silver dollars? No way, you gotta love the history in those. It's kind of ironic that it's difficult to locate decent circulated examples of Morgan dollars that are so readily available in MS condition. (like 1903-O)

Ain't that the truth.....I think the 1885-CC in a decent circulated condition has been the hardest coin of all the CC Morgans for me to find.

Ouch. Don't tell me that ralph. I think my slabbed one is 64+ and there's no way I'll put a bu one in a hole lol
Was the 85cc hard for all what, 5 sets?

The real toughies to find in circulated grades will be 1903-O, 1885-CC and 1884-CC. I've owned the first two in circulated grades in the past, but my searching led me to believe that the two CC's are rarer than the 1903-O.

Looking good. Do not mess with the circulated duplicates. Just go ahead and crack those slabs.
