I'm new to CRHing and just got started last week, but I already hit it big. I went to the bank on Friday and was talking to the teller about how I collect coins. I asked if he had seen anything old come in; he said no but he said that he had some $2 red seal notes at home that he is going to bring me this week . I'm so excited to see if they are in good condition or rare dates

How fortunate! Maybe you could find early 1928 USN's. Or star notes. Can't wait to hear what you got. Good luck!

I got some 28s from the bank once. Torn corners but great shape otherwise! You never know!

Once when my mom got a few $2s there was a 1953 in there---sold it on the Bill Collecting and Numsimatics section of the WG forums.
