Hello,

I am working on a George VI 10 cent piece set and recently came across a 1952 10 cent piece in ICCS MS-66. I have been unable to find a guide as to the value of this coin...anyone have an idea as to its value?
Thank you as always for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Charlton says $750, but of course that's just a catalog value.

The Coins and Canada website says $400. I think it's more like half of that. If the appeal is there, I'd pay somewhere around $200. Just my opinion. I feel like 1952 would be a pretty common date, and not too hard to find in higher grades

Edit: I checked PCGS population report, and one sold in Heritage Auctions for $235 USD in 2013. At the time , CDN and USD weren't too far apart, so I guess $250 is maybe a closer estimate for a ms66

Although I don't know much about Canadian coins, the $250 figure sounds more realistic. Catalog values are often very inflated.

My my, have prices dropped.

I would have thought at least $400, but it seems $250 is about right.
