What are you seeing? Are you referring to the spot between the bison's eyes. If that's it, It looks like a stain

If you are talking about the discoloration, it looks like a dirty spot, not much else.

I wondered why I was not getting any responses? So to you guys, the coin looks correct? The line on the right side of the bison's face is a double ridge and then there is one on his right horn also. There is also a line on the left side of his face that does not look right in the same spot but maybe I am incorrect as to how it should appear. Thanks, Robert

When I say on his right, I mean the right side, as you look at him. There is a line between his snout and ear, and then also on his horn that does not look correct
Thanks, Robert

Hi Robert to CCF. I see the discoloration as well, unfortunately I am not so good at determining any of the Doubled Die varieties. I am sure there will be more members chiming to help you out. Keep coming back.

If the lines are inset in the coin, it is just damage.

Images 3-5 show slight machine damage on the devices on the right side. Note how they are incuse in that area. (these images show it very well) On the left it is just the design.

I found one similar to this last year from the Denver mint. I never posted it because it was most likely MD. I think Coops post confirms it

Thank you very much Lawest for your post. I do see some similarities in our coins, mine is also a -D. This is VERY noticeable under the loupe and never imagined I would have as much difficulty as I did, getting it seen by others. To see this in person, it is a very OBVIOUS error. It appears to be "doubling" of the features, that each is next to. I was hoping to get more insight. I can see on yours how it is mechanical, out on the end of the horn. I have just a bit of that too, plus the other portions on the face. I only have one of this coin and have never had another to compare it to. Real MONEY has become quite a thing of the past for me with the cards now, so I check everything out for this kind of stuff :) It is fun! I do have lots of "old" coins, before debit cards.... Thanks, Robert

I came up with another photo from a different angle a (lot shallower) to attempt to show how "out of place" this set of extra lines are. The one on the right of the face is very visible, the one on the horn, not so much, due to the magnification.. Thanks, Robert
