For a lowball PO01 Seated dollar, is the CAC endorsement a negative? "Upper-end for the grade" means it could be a 1.3? Best Regards, George

It's nice to see CAC thinks a Poor-1 grade is accurate and it's a quality coin.
Can you over-grade a Poor-1?

It's royalty in its category. It's the Duke of Prunes.
It'd be like owning a longboard with an authentic shark bite.
I wonder if they'd accept an offer of $125. Can't risk finding out though because they just might.
I'll try $50 and report back.

I wonder what a blue-stickered PO01 looks like...

175 years of original wear and not "home made". Some of these ebay lines are way too amusing.

First green-beaned coin with whiz lines that I've ever seen ... IMHO, a raspberry would be more apropos.

I'd own it, but for a small fraction of that asking price...

Why don't you lowball his lowball at, say, around $750?

My $50 offer just expired. Awwww I'm so disappointed. I hate snooty sellers that won't counter. I'd forgotten about jeffscoins. Normally this is their deal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ESTATE-LOT-...291451775827But they are carving a niche in the way-overpriced-coins market too. Guess you won't be getting treasures like that 1840 dollar in your estate lot.

Yeah, it's kind of like Littleton Coins - just keep pushing, and most every day some ignorant sucker will ante up.

Quote: Can you over-grade a Poor-1? Yes, calling a coin a Poor-1 when it should have been a details Poor-1 would be an overgrade.
