Add does not mention if there copper or steel. My guess is that the color is off in the picture making them look like steel.

The lighting kinda stinks.
I think we are looking at a nice BU roll of normal 1944-P copper cents.

Since there are only 35 known 1944 steel cents, with each example worth anywhere from $70,000 to over $100,000, I can't help being just a little skeptical........

No, those in the first auction are normal BU:s. The ones lying in a row have a purple tint to them. Agreed it's just some strange, deceptive lightning.

In the late 1980's, I bought a 1944 steelie at a Stacks auction for $800.00 plus comission. I sold it for about $1000.00 two years later. I wish I had it today.

Definitely copper. Without a doubt. Could be a filtered photo too to get somebody who is slightly educated to bite and take the risk that they are steel.

There copper on one of the pictures I enlarged saw a slight copper glare,eBay shouldn't let people post pictures like that,a photo can be just as misleading as words.
