Check the weight. If it is the same as a gold dollar weight, then you probably have a coin weight. Such a weight would be used as a way to check gold dollars to verify that they were proper weight when accepting them as payment.

Also, it may seem like a small thing, but when you put your coin back into a 2x2 after weighing it, you really should flatten the staples with a pair of pliers. Otherwise, these staples could end up scratching the coin next to them (or vice versa).

Or get a stapler which staples flat. That will save lots of time in the long run.

What size 2x2 is this enclosed in? That would help with a diameter approximation. Also, if you really want to save time and protect your coins use self seal 2x2s. I've been using them for 25+ years without any toning on any coin type.

This coin is in a dime size holder, it measures 1/2" across. Had it weighed, said it is .0583 gram, or .02 oz.

That is what I thought, maybe the scale I used is wrong. Will try to locate another scale.

Found another scale, jewelry store, weight is very close. .588 gram.
