My pictures are terrible (I'm used to shooting nickels). I'll have to re-do them. Thanks for looking Chronoswiss, I'll get back.

It looks like feeder fingers were the cause of the need for a polishing of the die that left those marks. On trails they usually touch the edges of devices.

Trails are harder to photo. You have to use the light just right to see some of them.

Note on the images I posted. The trail line is a single line from a device, not a whole bunch from that same device. That would probably be a clue to the difference in these.

I was thinking there were some trails from some of the devices mixed in with the Feeder Finger Damage and polishing. Upon re-examining the coin, I know ya'll are exactly right. I appreciate your time and help. I think I'll pop open a roll of nickels.
