Incredible errors so far! I can't wait to see a '55 DDO, I know someone has one! Or maybe a '43 copper!

The 1955 DDO is a variety, not an error.

1943 copper would be a mint error. Same with the 1944 steel cent. I venture to guess that no one has either of these. (toooo rich for my blood)

Nice! Wow, learned something new! I thought that since the '55 DDO was a doubled die, it was an error. Does that mean that the 3 legged Buffalo nickel is not an error? Or since it was polished off it still counts? Still have a lot to learn!

Coop has an image of the rotated die cap strike through that I found while roll searching somewhere, that was a super exciting and bewildering find for me.

Looks like a lamination issue or a struck through debris? I can't tell from the image.

coop, awesome coin photos - a lot I didn't even know that about (die attrition) I have a question on the ones that are struck through wire. If I had come across those I would of thought someone slashed/scratched the coin; meaning PMD - how can I tell the difference when it is a struck through and not PMD?
