Dennman Valued Member Canada 496 Posts	Posted 03/19/2016 11:30 am On the overstamped coin one can see that the dies used were different.The overstamp dies are not as well engraved or have the same details.The poor engraveing gives me the impression of a copy. Medals and coins don't necesarily have to be rare or expensive to be copied. Report this Post to the Staff

The lettering is very crude, there is even an extra star in front of DaVinci. The reverse legend in the shield is totally different. Report this Post to the Staff
