I've included the picture of my coin along with what a normal Da Vinci Medal and 1909 Uruguay 2 Centesimos look like for comparison. Any thoughts on value?

Very nicely presented here.
It would appear that the overstamped dies were copies off the original Davinci dies.

Why do you think they are copies of the original Davinci dies. The real Davinci medals aren't rare so why would there be copies?

On the overstamped coin one can see that the dies used were different. The overstamp dies are not as well engraved or have the same details. The poor engraveing gives me the impression of a copy.
Medals and coins don't necesarily have to be rare or expensive to be copied.

Agreed that it was not struck with original Da Vinci dies. The lettering is very crude, there is even an extra star in front of DaVinci. The reverse legend in the shield is totally different.

I agree; a counterfeit Da Vinci die was used to "make" this "error".
