Hello CC,

First, does this $100 note with what I think is a pretty cool serial (58506585) have a name? I've seen it referred to as book ends? Also has a kind of palindrome like bookend effect... who knows! LOL If so, is there any premium above face value for a serial like this?

Next, I found this cool $1 note, with what I think if I understand these "fancy serials" correctly, would be considered a "Trinary Repeater"? 00636363... Any value to this one?

Next, another note.. this one $5, with a 123 Trinary...(33122222)

Also, found these cool $2 star notes and a $1 note with a pretty low serial (00002497)... thought I would share!

Thanks for looking--and thank you in advance for any information you can offer, as well as suggestions on valuations if any!

Take the face value of notes ($111) and buy you a nice coin or note that you can really enjoy.

Interesting notes.

My favorites are your $2 Stars......love me any $2 Stars.

The rest are interesting. I'm old school, and I believe a radar uses all 8 numbers, and so do repeaters, and ladders, and solids. There are a ton of NEW fancy serial subcategories all the time. Flippers, step-ladders, trinaries, 7 of a kind, bookends, etc. I even read about a collector that looks for Pi (31415926).

Interesting notes Joeturbo26
Rest in Peace

The $100 is a heart-breaker, that is "almost fancy", therefore a spender.

I love the $2's. Three zeros at the beginning is not an especially low number; the four zeros is better. But I'd keep them both -- at least for now.

The $1 with all the 63's is another heart-breaker.

The $5 is an okay poker hand if you play that game. Most people play with $1.

And I'd probably hang onto that $1 with the four zeros.

I don't know if any of these have a premium value. Keep what you like and spend the rest.

I don't think that 'trinary' notes are all that rare. I could be wrong and I am too lazy to do the math. The true binaries are all ones and zeros and those get a premium.

Keep searching. You found some good stuff and you'll find more.
