What about it strikes you as interesting? It seems fairly normal to my eye. Most people on here would expect some idea of what you are seeing.

The mint mark looks a bit reduced in size from what I can see?

What do you see that is odd. The shadows on the mint mark are straight on, making it difficult to determine much about it.

It definitely isn't a shadow. It looks like a little s sitting on top of a very large s. I am sure it is not a re-punched mark, but I just hadn't seen this before. I WISH I had something more interesting to share!
Rest in Peace

I'd need a better pic to really see what's going on there.

Look here:http://www.doubleddie.com/967399.html for a series of pictures of known repunched mint marks.

Hope that helps.
Rest in Peace

That darkness that is surrounding the MM , is it indented into the coin or flat on the surface ?

Looks like the top part of the mint mark has some damage reducing it a bit.

i often wish I had interesting things to share too - so to that end, I understand how you feel. I have discovered that what I find interesting - sometimes does not appeat to be that interesting to others. so...i enjoy what I find - occasionally finding something I feel is interesting enough to share - and just otherwise, continue to enjoy this hobby (mostly - to myself)..
